A graduate of Simon Fraser University's Writer's Studio, Liz Crocker published in the program's anthology, Emerge in 2023. As an educator and writer for parks, historic sites and museums, Liz's writing appears on many interpretive signs, in educator manuals, heritage interpretation journals and educational websites.
In 2012 and 2013, Liz wrote and performed two plays for Theatre SKAM in Victoria, BC. She was a finalist in The Writers’ Union of Canada Writing for Children Competition in 2002, and a Literary Arts Delegate at BC Festival of the Arts in 1998. Liz's writing is also in a high school textbook, Science Dimensions 9, Island Parent and Today's Parent magazines and BC Historical News.
She lives with her partner in an empty nest, in Lekwungen Territory on southern Vancouver Island on the West Coast of Canada.
